Banco do Brasil (BB) customers have been having problems logging into the institution’s app since late morning. The problem started around 11am and was partially resolved around 1pm. However, the excess of dammed demand continues to slow down digital services.
According to site Downdetector, which monitors service complaints, until 11 am the number of complaints per minute was within the average. However, there was an explosion of complaints from 11:11 am, when 159 simultaneous complaints were registered. The peak of complaints was recorded at 12:11 pm, when there were 1,075 simultaneous complaints.
According to site77% of the complaints were related to problems to do Login in the BB mobile app, 15% reported difficulties making transfers via Pix and 3% were unable to make transfers via Pix.
Around 1pm, customers were able to log into the application and site of the bank, but the tools have moments of instability due to the dammed demand for service. The number of complaints per minute on the site Downdetector rose again from 1:32 pm to 1:47 pm and then dropped again, being around 230 complaints per minute since 2:00 pm.
In a note, BB informed that it is taking measures and that the other service channels continue to function normally. “Banco do Brasil informs that it has identified intermittent access to the app, involving part of its customers this Wednesday morning. The other service channels continue to operate. BB is taking all measures to normalize what happened,” said the financial institution.
