Through his social networks, the official criticized the appearance of flyers and banners in different areas of the city. His discovery in an office of the Cuauhtémoc mayor’s office, he said, confirms the interests of certain groups that seek to affect the image of the capital’s president.
“There is a campaign against the head of government, not signed by a political force, but through apocryphal propaganda that was spread in the streets and now appeared in a public office,” he said.
Between Thursday and Friday two important pieces of information appeared: one related to the dirty war propaganda against the Head of Government found in a public office. Another, the findings related to the events of the Metro, which show intention to affect it. pic.twitter.com/sBNNhPmZXN

Batres questioned whether the packages with thousands of flyers and a dozen banners with the image of the head of government and information against her have been found in an office dedicated to Social Development, a fact that could constitute a crime.
“Material, movable and immovable assets were being used to store this propaganda,” he said.
Regarding the message offered by Ulises Lara, spokesman for the capital’s Prosecutor’s Office, regarding the crash on Metro Line 3, the uncoupling of carriages on Line 7 and the damage to a rail apparatus on Line 12, were due to negligence or that could be provoked, Batres Guadarrama said that certain people carried out acts that affected the operation of this transportation system in a malicious manner.
“These are two very important pieces of information that have been given these days, and they show that there are certain actors who have the objective of harming Mexico City and the City Government,” he said.
This Friday, the head of Government Claudia Sheinbaum assured that the discovery of flyers and banners with information and images against her administration in the offices of the Cuauhtémoc mayor’s office should be seen as a campaign orchestrated by the National Action Party and not as a simple conflict with mayor Sandra Cuevas.
