The company collected outerwear, in all its stores, with the purpose of donating them to the Girls Club and the CAIF center of the Los Rosales Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting more than 700 families in the Casavalle neighborhood.

In addition, a second donation was delivered within the framework of the month of the environment, which consisted of 640 liters of Ta-Ta brand water intended to cover one month’s consumption for the institution’s CAIF.

Despite the cold snap, the Los Rosales Foundation experienced a warm and festive climate. Babies and children received an important donation from BAS, signifying their first Coat Campaign. For two weeks, all the stores in the country collected more than 400 winter garments that were destined for the children of the Girls’ Club and the CAIF center that accompanies this foundation. Also, 160 jackets donated by the company were added to this donation.

With a presence throughout the country, BAS offered its points of sale as reception centers for all donations received, allowing any interested person to bring their contribution and join the Coat Campaign. “We take care of the logistics and delivery of the donations, also adding coats from our brand, in addition to disseminating in our channels the outstanding work carried out by Los Rosales, whose work is of vital importance and it is interesting for them that the brands act as media outlets. diffusion of its work”, expressed Ximena Quintas, Marketing Manager of Grupo TATA, after her visit to the center.

Los Rosales is a socio-educational institution with more than 30 years of history, which daily serves some 700 families from the Casavalle neighborhood, accompanying and supporting them at each stage. Its objective is to provide children with the opportunity to develop their potential, receive training and build their life project. Its purpose is to accompany the families of Casavalle in their task of educating, strengthening and humanizing the aforementioned life projects.

The CAIF center where part of the donations were allocated is the largest in the country and cares for 150 children up to three years of age. They also have a school of 180 students. As part of their focus on developing digital skills and technological innovation, girls from 1st to 6th grade participate in a robotics workshop on a weekly basis.

The foundation also undertakes to continue working on inclusive social projects. To this end, in 2022, it inaugurated the first exclusive high school for women in Uruguay, which has a solid technological focus and currently has 52 female students.

The general director of Los Rosales, Paola Terra, thanked the collaboration of BAS and its customers: “Thanks to this generous campaign, children will be able to face winter more comfortably and water will contribute significantly to the well-being of the little ones. These actions make a difference in the lives of the most vulnerable, and it is a great collaboration with our main objective of promoting life projects in the neighborhood community”.

According to Quintas, the Coat Campaign is an action that BAS has been dreaming of for a long time, aligned with the spirit of commitment that characterizes the brand. “We are constantly evaluating how we can contribute more to the community and to the fashion industry, among other things,” she reflected.
