The residents and merchants stationed near the Municipal Stadium in the district of Hualhuas in Huancayo experienced moments of panic after two groups of subjects confronted each other with gunshots, stones and knives. After these acts, one of the groups began to assault those who were in the area, threatening them with their firearm.

Capture. These incidents occurred on Saturday afternoon, on Alfonso Ugarte Avenue, located outside the Municipal Stadium of Hualhuas, in the district of the same name, in Huancayo.
According to witnesses, the supporters of the Universitario de Deportes and Alianza Lima teams, who are in this district, engaged in a confrontation with firearms, stones and knives. After the rioters were dissuaded, one of the groups made up of four individuals began to try to assault passersby and merchants.
“They pointed a gun at me to rob me,” the aggrieved ESA(36) said.
Another passerby who resisted being assaulted was brutally beaten and was evacuated to the San Agustín de Cajas health center.

Police from the San Agustín de Cajas police station arrived at the scene and managed to capture two of the subjects who were identified as Jhon Tunque Camasca (19) and Andrés Gaspar Garay (23). A firearm and a knife were found in their possession.
Because it was believed to be a criminal gang, the subjects were transferred as detainees to the Criminal Investigation Division (Divincri) in Huancayo.
