Armando José Castro Maldonado was sentenced to prison for indiscriminately attacking his ex-partner Kenede SV G, a brutal attack that left the young victim without a scalp for a long time.

A court in the municipality of Soledad found the barrista of a popular soccer team in the city of Barranquilla guilty for the events recorded on August 20, 2018.

The crime charged by the Prosecutor’s Office is that of attempted femicide.

Regarding the facts, it should be remembered that Armando Castro, as a result of an attack of jealousy, took a knife and tore part of his ex-partner’s scalp.

Kende had ended her romantic relationship with her aggressor and was sleeping in the living room of her sister-in-law’s house when the events occurred.

On August 23, three days after the brutal attack was reported, the aggressor was captured in the El Santuario neighborhood of Barranquilla and placed under the orders of the accusing body.

On April 29, it will be known how many years in prison Castro Maldonado will have to pay. That day a new virtual hearing will be held at around 9 in the morning for this case that caused outrage not only in the department of Atlántico but in the rest of the country.
