Central Barracks and Central Córdoba of Santiago del Estero they tied at the Lanús court, 1 to 1in the match that kicked off the new Professional Football League tournament.

Iván Tapia, from a penalty, opened the account for Barracas Central at 12m of the first half and Renzo López tied it (32m ST). Tapia had another penalty at 6m ST but it was saved by the “Railway” goalkeeper, the Chilean Cristopher Toselli.

Barracas Central started better and had a quick reward, at 12m, after a double error by Di Benedetto: first he lost the ball at the start against Sepúlveda and then he committed a penalty.

Iván Tapia took charge of the free kick, a strong right hand and half height to score the deserved 1 to 0.

Barracas had two other great chances to take advantage, first when Sepúlveda anticipated Toselli and headed just wide, and then when Mouche entered alone from the right and took a great shot that the goalkeeper rejected.

Central Córdoba, little by little, matched the actions. And he was within a shot of the tie with a shot by Soraire that went just over the crossbar.

Before the closing of the initial stage, the locals dominated again, which generated another good possibility with a header from Glaby after a center from Mouche; and referee Darío Herrera gave the visitor “another life” when he decided to punish a tremendous foul by Linares with a yellow card, which should have been a direct red card.

As soon as the complement began, “Guapo” had another penalty after a handball by Pereyra verified by the VAR, but this time in the owner between Tapia and Toselli the goalkeeper won.

The play, which could mean a blow to the spirit for some or a boost for others, did not substantially change the course of the game. They continued to alternate control of the ball and, in this context, Barracas was the most dangerous.

Until the visiting coach, Sergio Rondina, made “major surgery”: four changes together. He worked for him. Besozzi, who had come on for Linares (the player who should have been sent off), made a good move from the left, sent a precise cross and from behind, taking advantage of Saracho’s bad start, López appeared. 1-1.

Now yes, Central Córdoba improved. And it was the local coach, Alfredo Berti, who appealed for a massive change to regain control of the match. He also put in four mods at the same time.

The maneuver was enough to neutralize the growth that the visitor had exhibited. There were no longer any risky situations in front of the goals and the 1-1 ended up being a fair result.

On the next date, second, Barracas Central will visit Tigre (Saturday from 3:30 p.m.) and the Santiago team will receive Boca Juniors, on Sunday from 8:30 p.m.
