Barletta: “If Mulino wins the elections, the CSJ’s unconstitutionality ruling is not retroactive”

Lawyer Juan Manuel Barletta analyzed the statements of Judge Olmedo Arrocha regarding the claim of unconstitutionality against the candidacy of José Raúl Mulino.

“If the candidate José Raúl Mulino wins the elections, even if the Supreme Court of Justice rules that his candidacy is unconstitutional, this result is not retroactive and would have no effect,” said Barletta.

When the ruling is given, no challenges can be applied, indicates lawyer Barleta, reiterating that the ruling would not be retroactive or would not have any effect on the results of the elections.
