Banxico aggressive cuts takes the CETES to its lowest level in two years

After having made a 50 -point cut this month, in March it is expected that there is a new cut at the rate against data that show that inflation is converging to the goal.

In January the data of inflation was 3.59% the lowest rate since February 2021. Inflationary pressures are expected to dissipate. The interest rate of Banco de México is expected to close 8.5% levels this year, so the CETES would be at a similar level.

What is the performance of the CETES?

The yields of the CETS at 28 days offer a 9.35% yield while the three -month period offers returns of 9.41%.

Six -month CETES were located with a 9.32% rate and two years to 9.65%.
