The Reserve Bank inaugurated Expo Fomenta Pymes Banreservas 2022, which will take place from March 1 to April 30, so that SMEs can opt for working capital to develop and consolidate their business at a time of economic reactivation.
The general manager of Banreservas, Samuel Pereyra, announced a rate of 7.95%, fixed for up to three years for commercial loans, after considering that SMEs are “the true protagonists of a productive sector that courageously and creatively assumes its traditional and innovative projects, to bring sustenance to their families, as well as progress and development to their country”.
“This segment activates the economic circuit in a very effective way, by enabling the emergence of new jobs; improving the quality of life of the communities and bringing progress and well-being to its members, both in urban and rural areas”, said Pereyra.
The Minister of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs, Víctor Bisonó, highlighted the scope of this initiative of the Banco de Reservas, which constitutes a significant contribution to MSMEs, which generate jobs for 2.2 million people.
“It has been proven over and over again how Banreservas, a vital ally for all, has been making an arduous effort to carry forward the most diverse businesses. Hence the importance of holding this fifth edition of Expo Fomenta Pymes Banreservas, which seeks to offer financial support and business guidance to thousands of Dominicans”, analyzed Bisonó.
Meanwhile, the deputy administrator of Business, Ysidro García, said that at this fair, special financing conditions will be granted to the SME sector, which constitutes a substantial part of national progress, due to its great flexibility to adapt to market changes and undertake innovative projects. , in the Dominican Republic.
