The executive president of Banco de Reservas (Banreservas), Samuel Pereyra Rojas, highlighted the role of the entity in the economic development of the country and its impact on the diaspora during his four years of management in one conference titled “Banreservas: Engine of the National Economy 2020-2024″, within the framework of the 83rd anniversary of the financial entity.
In his presentation, he highlighted the recent achievements of the Banreservasincluding the promulgation of the Law 13-24which grants the institution the status of a multiple bank, allowing it to expand its capitalization capacity and consolidate its position in the national financial system.

Financial support to productive sectors

Pereyra said that until June 2024, the international offices have served more than 34,800 customers and have managed more than 650,000 remittancesconsolidating itself as a key ally of the diaspora Dominican.
