Banregio: 30 years transforming the Mexican financial sector

A vision for the future

Within the framework of its 30th anniversary, Banregio presented its growth plans, which include further deepening the digital segment and consolidating its leadership position in the Mexican market; They aim to continue growing in a sustainable and profitable way, always putting the customer at the center of their decisions.

They have prioritized investment in technology and innovation, relying on generative artificial intelligence, facial identification for transactions and with constant improvements in the mobile and desktop banking app. They even have branches without windows, with financial advice and smart ATMs. That is, the technology developed by Hey Banco is now being implemented in Banregio, with the aim of replicating the success of the regional holding company’s digital bank.

“For me that is invaluable, there is no money in the world that can buy you that satisfaction of a job well done because, instead of considering the bank as an enemy, you see it as an ally and, in that sense, anyone who has a bank as an ally, has the capacity to produce much more,” Rivero Zambrano pointed out.

Regional Day 2024, which also took place as part of the bank’s celebrations, brought together the institution’s leaders where they highlighted progress in their growth strategy, with a special focus on digital transformation. Hey Banco, the group’s commitment to digital banking, is about to begin operations as an independent bank to continue offering innovative solutions and meet the needs of customers in the digital era.

Banregio has established itself as a benchmark in the Mexican financial sector and has demonstrated that it is possible to combine growth, innovation and social commitment.
