His career in the public sector began in 2005 at the Ministry of Finance of the then government of the Federal District (today Mexico City), administering the local public debt portfolio. In addition, he served in 2009 as a financing structuring manager at the National Bank of Public Works (Banobras), where he specialized in subnational debt structuring and financing.
Roberto Lazzeri is an economist at the Economic Research and Teaching Center (CIDE) and has Law Studies from the University of the Valley of Mexico.
