This week, the plenary of Congress of the Republic It would approve the new ordinary commissions table for the 2025-2026 period, in which there would be some changes in the leadership of the working groups. In many of them, it transcended, it is considered that there has not been a successful management, it is the case of economy, education and energy and mines, among others.
This last commission, for example, was in the hands of the missing magisterial block that, through Paul Gutiérrez, tried to impose, fortunately, his own agenda in favor of informal miners with the extension of the integral registry of mining formylization (reimo) under another denomination.
After the deactivation of the block, due to the resignations of its members, it was learned that the Country Avanza bench seeks to make the presidency of the Energy and Mines Commission that would fall to Diana Gonzales, who in the previous legislative period was in charge of the vice presidency.
The same situation has been observed in economics, which could pass by Force Popular but was so far in the hands of Popular Action with Ilich López, and where a series of misguided standards has been ruled such as the one that modifies the choice of the Board of Directors of the municipal boxes or which allocates more resources to Foncomun despite the fact that the municipalities do not execute their resources, and promoted others such as the release of funds from the AFP.
Education is another group in which a change is sought. As we report days ago, we are Peru in its driving, which would be in charge of Alex Paredes, a former member of Peru Libre. That would be, however, the main stumbling block for this transfer, because the commission is precisely the penalty party that does not see it to give it to one of its dissidents.
On the other hand, the Constitution Commission would continue in the hands of the Popular Force while Alianza for Progress would maintain the budget driving where it was initially voiced that the Lady Camones dish would repeat. As the days go by, however, this possibility is diluted and talk about its replacement for Alejandro Soto or Eduardo Sallejuana. And although now APP has a large composition – 17 members who make it the second congressional minority – most of its members come from other stores such as Popular Force, Peru Libre or Popular Action, so its possible nomination to a presidency is not seen with very good eyes at the leadership level.

Podemos Peru, by José Luna Gálvez, will not preside over the Budget Commission as intended because it will remain in the hands of APP.
Popular Action, meanwhile, would maintain the presidency of the Transport Commission in which the popular renewal bench was interested. The reason? Press from there measures to carry out the road and rail projects of the mayor of Lima, Rafael López Aliaga.
