MADRID, Spain.- The Mexican airline Aeromar announced on Wednesday the definitive cessation of its operations, due to “financial problems that it is going through, as well as the difficulty of closing agreements with viable conditions to ensure its long-term operation.”
The company, which in November 2020 had inaugurated his Cancun-Cuba route, with five frequencies a week, specified through a release that “the company’s team made profound financial adjustments to improve its situation, however, in an adverse environment, aggravated during the COVID-19 pandemic, the measures taken were not enough to stabilize the company’s situation.”

Aeromar, founded 35 years ago and based in Mexico City, as he points out, “throughout these years, it has transported travelers of all nationalities between 26 different routes: 21 national destinations and three international ones.
