Officials of the Support Brigade to the Miranda State Police peasant faced members of the Los Pampers band in the Tomás Lander municipality, Tuy valleys.
Six of the members fell down in the confrontation and were identified with the alias: the Pamper, Totoro, Brayita, Cartayita and El Gordo, while one remains unidentified.
The authorities seized six firearms during the procedure, including: a Smith & Wesson 9 mm pistol, a SIG SAUER P228 9 mm caliber, two 12 -caliber shotguns (one without a visible mark or serial and another Maberi brand) and two revolvers caliber 38 (one without a visible brand or serial and another Smith & Wesson).
The incident occurred in the Ocumarito sector, in the population of Ocumare del Tuy, in Miranda state. The Hamponil Group belonged to the structured group of organized crime Gedo, of the Valleys of Tuy, and kept the community in anxiety.
