
The Bolivarian National Police dismantled a criminal gang dedicated to the collection of position in a day of cedulation of the administrative service of identification, migration and foreign (Saime) in the population of Cagua, Aragua state.
The detainees were identified as: Jhonatan José Ramón Mijares, Luis Ramón Pedroza Blanco, Pedro Armando Fajardo Fajardo and Zaid Andreina Falcón de Figueredo.
The group was dedicated to organizing and controlling access to the entrance tail to the Saime office. He charged users up to five dollars or their equivalent in bolivars in exchange for giving them the top positions to carry out procedures before this institution.
The captured were placed under shelter in the dungeons of the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DIP), of the Bolivarian National Police in Maracay, for later presentation before the competent courts.
“The Saime reiterates its commitment to transparency, respect for the rights of citizens and frontal combat against any form of corruption or practice that threatens the proper functioning of its offices,” the institution said on Instagram.
