Bancos Reservas, Popular y BHD participarán en Fitur

The Reserves, Popular and BHD banks will participate in the Fitur 2025 International Tourism Fair, to open on Wednesday the 22nd in Madrid, Spain.

Banreservas will support a series of proposals aimed at promoting tourism investment in the Dominican Republic.

Samuel Pereyra, executive president of the banking entity, will chair the delegation that has several business meetings scheduled with investors, tour operators and developers linked to the sector, as well as the signing of agreements with businessmen and formalization of financing for new tourism projects that will be built. in the country.

Banreservas in Fitur 2024 attracted investments for the country for more than US$2.6 billion.

Meanwhile, Banco Popular will have a participation in Fitur 2025, which will be held from January 22 to 26 at the IFEMA fairgrounds, where it will arrive as a leader in financing the Creole tourism sector.

The Banco Popular delegation will be led by Popular’s executive president, Christopher Paniagua, along with a team of executives, who will reinforce the institution’s commitment to innovation and sustainability in the sector for more than 30 years. The agenda covers more than 40 meetings with leaders of the tourism industry and representatives of hotel chains.

Meanwhile, Banco BHD will hold the second version of its BHD Forum: Tourism and Investment, with the theme “Opportunities for the economic ecosystem of tourism in the Dominican Republic.” David Collado, Minister of Tourism and Steven Puig, president of the banking entity, will participate. The forum will have two parts. The first conference will be given by Alejandro Beltrán, senior partner at McKinsey Iberia.
