Banconal manager details the automated process that allows people to request alimony

Last Friday, an agreement was signed between the National Bank of Panama (Banconal) and the Judicial Branch, whose objective is to optimize and improve the procedures for payment of alimony, which will be launched from next March.

The general manager of Banconal, Javier Carrizo, explained that it is about implementing an automated process that allows people who request alimony and judges to know, without having to go to the bank, the account statements and verify compliance. or not of the payments.

He pointed out that the robotic automation process that the National Bank already has will be used, which uses all requests repeatedly, such as requesting an account statement every month, the robot can do it automatically.

“We have already established this communication with the Court, which is progressing at a very good pace to automate this entire process and the family judge does not have to wait for the affected person to bring the bank statement, but can automatically request it by an account that he himself is going to request to open, even the mother will no longer have to come to the bank but automatically receives the account statements and can verify who paid or who did not pay the alimony, so it is about optimizing The entire process begins on March 1, we are waiting for the Judicial Branch to indicate the four courts that are going to be a pilot in this test, initially it will be done via e-mail, while the process is established, “he explained.
