Banco Popular and ADL Digital Lab launch the Silver Club

Banco Popular and ADL Digital Lab launch the Silver Club

Banco Popular, in alliance with ADL Digital Lab, presented the Silver Club, the first open and free digital platform in Colombia created to accompany people over 50 years of age in your physical, emotional and financial well-being.

The project is born from the desire to connect with the life stories of those who are going through the demographic transition that defines a new stage: longevity.

“This Club was born to break stereotypes and put the conversation of new longevity at the center of the table. This club is a tool for all of us who are over 50. We are reinventing ourselves, we are understanding that we have many years ahead of us, starting the second half of life and we want to live what is coming fully,” said María Fernanda Suárez, president of Banco Popular.

And he added: “This platform is born from listening, from understanding that we now live many more years and we live them differently than past generations. The 70s are the new 50s and it is likely that we will reach 100 years”.

From the Bank, the Silver Club represents a way of accompanying people beyond financial products, understanding that true wealth lies in being able to enjoy more time with purpose and well-being.

“The Silver Club was born so that Colombia can discover the best moment in life. Because living more is not enough: it is about living better, with emotional, physical and financial health,” said Suárez.
For its part, Ana Margarita Albir Sarmiento, president of ADL Digital Lab, highlighted that this is a commitment to innovation with a human sense.

“Our mission at ADL Digital Lab is to put technology at the service of people. The Silver Club demonstrates that digital development can also generate community, trust and well-being,” he stated.
He also added: “…this is just the beginning. The Silver Club is not going to stop evolving. We will continue adding experiences, content and spaces so that each person finds their place in this silver community,” said Albir Sarmiento.

With this launch, Banco Popular reaffirms its purpose of being the bank for the best moment in life, while ADL Digital Lab continues to demonstrate that the most powerful innovation is the one that transforms people’s lives.
