The National Bank (BNA) and the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) today signed an agreement for the bank to be, for the third consecutive year, the official sponsor of the 37th edition of the Mar del Plata International Film Festivalwhich will take place from November 3 to 13.
The agreement means support for the realization of the only “Class A” Festival in Latin America, and in which the BNA will sponsor the awards for Best Film in Latin American Competition, Best Argentine Feature Film, Best Short Film in Argentine Competition and Best Film in Transit. and will accompany each screening of the Festival with an institutional spot.
“We promote the strengthening of the film industry, an activity that generates wealth and employment in Argentina. It is a pride to accompany the Mar del Plata International Film Festival”pointed out the president of the BNA, Silvina Batakiswho assured that the entity has a “strong commitment to culture”.
“It is with great joy and pride that we receive, for the third consecutive year, Banco Nación at our beloved Mar del Plata International Film Festival, the festival for all Argentines, which is our greatest celebration of cinema”expressed the acting vice-president of the INCAA Presidency, Nicholas Batlleafter signing the agreement.
