The Bank of the Republic alerted the citizens of the use of your logo by the supposed Popular Financial Cooperative that promotes the granting of credit and requests sums of money from interested parties.

The Financial Superintendence of Colombia has informed the Banco de la República of the existence of a firm that calls itself ‘People’s Financial Cooperative’which promotes the granting of credits and requests the interested parties, prior to disbursement, the deposit of sums of money under different concepts, for which and in order to give the appearance of legality of its operations, it uses without any authorization a logo with the name of the Bank of the Republic.
The Banco de la República informs the public that it has no links to or supports the presumed cooperative and calls on all people to avoid falling for financing scams and delivery of resources by unauthorized entities.

The Banco de la República said that it transferred the facts to the Superintendency of Solidarity Economy for its competence and will bring the respective information to the attention of the Attorney General’s Officein order to investigate possible criminal conduct.
