Through a syndicated loan, Banco de Bogotá contributes $300,000 million. This amount will be disbursed through the sustainable development line, which is part of the entity’s sustainable product portfolio.

This project, considered the most important in terms of infrastructure for Bogotá, reached a progress of 44.45% as of November 30, 2024, and is expected to, once completed, provide an efficient, safe and sustainable transportation service for thousands of citizens. The first disbursement of this project, for an amount of $250,000 millionwas held on November 25, marking an important milestone in its progress.

The first line of the Bogotá Metro, which will travel 23.96 kilometers from the Patio Taller in Bosa to Av. Caracas with Calle 72will have 16 stations, of which 10 will have direct connection to the TransMilenio system. The complete route will be completed in 27 minutes, with an average speed of 43 kilometers per hour. It is estimated that this system will move 72,000 passengers per hour in one direction.
The project will be operated with 30 100% electric trainswhich will stop emitting nearly 171,000 tons of CO₂ per year, a contribution to sustainability.
