Over the weekend, seven tons of food bank markets will arrive at the port of Buenaventura to distribute in different territories with those affected by the winter.

Winter is not over yet, but the Food Bank continues to support the victims of the country by guaranteeing their food, after aid collection days in recent days they will deliver markets.

This is how it is expected that this Sunday 7 tons of food will arrive in the Buenaventura District to meet one of the basic needs of many families affected by the winter wave.
All this has been achieved with the exercise of citizens who have made their donations.
Everything donated has been organized by the group of volunteers that accompanies the Food Bank.
“We have around 3,600 markets that go to Chocó, La Guajira, Cali, Palmira, Espinal; various municipalities and departments that have been affected,” they reported from the entity.
Diego Gómez, operations and logistics manager, explained that it has been an arduous task.
However, this campaign continues and that is why Banco de Alimentos invites you to continue donating to this cause.
The types of food that are being delivered are groceries, dry goods that do not have a short shelf life and can be stored.
You can donate rice, lentils, beans, oil, tuna, pasta among others, they are foods that can be donated.
