Banco BHD and the Specialized Hospital for Advanced Medicine (HEMA) signed an agreement to offer financing to health professionals who wish to be part of the HEMA team of doctors and contribute to the development of medicine in the Dominican Republic, specifically in the region. North of the country.
The agreement was signed by Luis Lembert, general manager of Banco BHD, Miguel Sánchez Caba, president of HEMA, and Elías Cruz, treasurer of the hospital. The agreement contemplates credit facilities of up to seven years with a fixed rate, twelve months of grace in the payment of capital and exemption from commissions.
“We continue to develop agreements that favor doctors, because we are committed to contributing to the development of the health sector and the growth of those professionals who work every day to guarantee the well-being of people,” said Lembert.
HEMA is a third-level complexity health institution, located on the Duarte highway in Santiago. It has 177 rooms, two highly complex operating rooms, seven general operating rooms, a delivery room and a hemodynamics unit. In addition, it has pediatric and neonatal intensive care units, and for adults. HEMA also offers a wide range of specialized units, such as nuclear medicine, hemodialysis, endoscopy and urology.
