After the Comptroller’s report on fiscal findings in the management of the Agrarian Bank regarding the Rural Social Interest Housing subsidies (VISR), the banking entity ruled and clarified that there have been no unilateral settlements of projectsnor have beneficiaries withdrawn from the Program
According to the bank, “this finding refers to the unilateral termination of project No. 00110032094, on August 2, 2018. Said project had to execute subsidies assigned before the year 2010. In this administration there have been no unilateral liquidations of projectsnor have beneficiaries withdrawn from the Program”.
Faced with the structuring of housing projects on land not suitable for construction or delivery of houses without meeting the technical requirements, the Agrarian Bank maintained that “is not the one that builds the houses, but rather hires an actor called Integral Managementwho in turn must contract the inspector of the work and the executor of the project”.

In this sense, the bank said that terminated the projects with their respective payments, with the receipt recorded in a signed document where the beneficiaries confirm that they have received the house to their satisfaction.
“This document is approved by the auditing of each project and sent to the Bank by the Integral Management, in its capacity as contractor of the same.”
Regarding the compliance policies that expired, the financial entity clarified that “the mentioned policies correspond in their entirety to damaged projects before this administration, that is, before August 7, 2018. The Control office Disciplinary of Banco Agrario, at the request of the current administration of the Bank, initiated investigations regarding this issue and has already issued charges against several officials of the Housing Management of the previous administration, who at the time did not make the relevant claims to the insurance companies.
Finally, the entity assured that the current administration initiated the claim of all the policies that should have been claimed in previous administrations and took the necessary measures so that situations of extemporaneous claims do not occur again.
