Young Tech, which is ahead in the Bancamía Digital Laboratory located in El Paujil (Caquetá)emerged within the framework of the work plan with the young population with which Bancamía has had contact through its program Financial Educationof the specialized value offer and of work days where, through the Findeq Route, they have been listened to and their vision translated into tools for the territories such as, for example, the education and literacy plan. This space has brought together more than 180 inhabitants of the region to participate in training routes.

The President of Bancamía, Viviana Araque Mendozastressed that “Through activities such as Jóvenes Tech, we want to focus on creating opportunities that begin with education and are subsequently strengthened by inclusion. Young people show us how they can innovate and transmit knowledge to their immediate surroundings and, of course, use these skills to develop their facet as entrepreneurs.”.
Three outstanding projects
Since the first day he visited the Digital Laboratory, Santiago Polanía, student of the Educational Institution Our Lady of Mercedes, located in El Paujil (Caquetá)felt a natural curiosity to know more about technology and, with the help of the Laboratory instructors, learned about different platforms and programs to accompany micro-entrepreneurs like his father, Reinaldo Polanía, owner of the Villa Sara ecotourism resort (located in the same municipality), on the literacy path.
The second innovation idea is that of Yudeidy Galarza, student of the Educational Institution Our Lady of MercyShe began her technical studies in systems with the Sena when she was in tenth grade and found in the Digital Laboratory a place of trust to strengthen her knowledge and, at the same time, meet the requirements of the internship with the Sena.

For its part, Arcesio Alejandro Plazas, a young entrepreneur who, for as long as he can remember, has been involved in livestock and field work, researched tools and options in the Laboratory to develop control and monitoring channels for livestock activities in the region (such as guidelines for feeding livestock).
“With this idea I want to benefit 100 people in the region and continue with the livestock business. I want livestock producers to find in this resource the possibility of using applications that increase productivity and income,” says Alejandro.

This idea gave rise to the digital monitoring booklet for the dairy chain, which, in a first phase, will provide farmers with a toolbox with which they can access applications to improve the results of their work. In a second phase, this commitment will be for the implementation of an application that contains the management of the entire milk value chain..
