Balance Covid-19: Minsal reports 7,791 new cases and 53 deaths in the last 24 hours

The Ministry of Health (Minsal) published a new balance on the situation of Covid-19 in our country. In this regard, they specified that during the last 24 hours 7,791 new cases have been registered, of which 3,934 correspond to symptomatic people and 1,085 do not present symptoms. In addition, it was indicated that there are 2,772 Positive PCR tests that were not notified.

Regarding the Laboratory Network and diagnostic capacity, it was reported that the results of 44,469 PCR tests and antigen tests have been reported, reaching a total of 46,465,814 tests analyzed at the national level to date. Positivity in the last 24 hours reaches 17.18% nationwide and 19.59% in the Metropolitan region.

Results

To date, 4,818,999 have been diagnosed with Covid-19 in our country, of which 17,722 are in an active stage. The recovered cases reach 4,726,923.

The DEIS reported that in the last 24 hours there were 53 deaths from causes associated with Covid-19, reaching a total of 61,923 people nationwide since the pandemic began in Chile.

Likewise, it was reported that to date there are 130 people hospitalized in the Intensive Care Units, of which 83 are supported by mechanical ventilation. Regarding the Integrated Health Network, it was reported that there are 295 critical beds available throughout the country.
