Balance Covid-19: Minsal reports 4,050 new cases and 8 deaths

The Ministry of Health (Minsal) delivered a new report regarding the situation of Covid-19 in the country, with 4,050 new cases, of which 2,504 correspond to symptomatic people, 429 without symptoms and 1,122 to Positive PCR tests that were not notified. .

In addition to the Laboratory Network and diagnostic capacity, the results of 44,210 PCR tests were reported, reaching a total of 44,845,798 analyzed nationwide to date.

On the other hand, the national positivity in the last 24 hours reached 8.16% and in the Metropolitan Region it is 8.27%.

Thus, the total number of people who have been diagnosed with Covid-19 in the country reaches 4,594,519. Of that total, 9,816 patients are in the active stage. The recovered cases are 4,514,847.

As for the deaths, according to the information provided by the DEIS, in the last 24 hours there were 8 deaths. In this way, the total number of deceased amounts to 60,974 in the country.

Regarding hospitalized people, 138 are in Intensive Care Units, of which 83 are supported by mechanical ventilation. In relation to the Integrated Health Network, there is a total of 276 critical beds available.

According to the sampling, the regions with the highest positivity in the last week are O’Higgins, Biobío, Maule and La Araucanía.
