Balance Covid-19: Minsal reports 14,805 active cases and 13 deaths in the last 24 hours

The Ministry of Health (Minsal) reported this Friday a new report regarding the situation of Covid-19 in the country, with 3,766 new cases, of which 2,267 correspond to symptomatic people, 590 without symptoms and 907 to Positive PCR test that did not they were notified.

Regarding the Laboratory Network and diagnostic capacity, the results of 44,105 PCR tests were reported, reaching a total of 45,173,079 analyzed nationwide to date.

On the other hand, the national positivity in the last 24 hours reached 8.36% and in the Metropolitan Region it is 9.66%.

Thus, the total number of people who have been diagnosed with Covid-19 in the country reaches 4,624,307. Of that total, 14,805 patients are in the active stage. The recovered cases are 4,538,737.

As for the deaths, according to the information provided by the DEIS, in the last 24 hours there were 13 deaths. In this way, the total number of deceased amounts to 61,154 in the country.

In addition, the hospitalized people, 123 are in Intensive Care Units, of which 75 are with mechanical ventilation support. In relation to the Integrated Health Network, there is a total of 294 critical beds available.

According to sample collection, the regions with the highest positivity in the last week are O’Higgins, Ñuble, Biobío and Maule.
