The Minister of Communication, Freddy Ñáñez, reported this Wednesday that during the last 24 hours the country registered 1 imported case, from Mexico, with entry through La Guaira.
According to the balance offered via Twitter, Venezuela reaches 522,056 confirmed cases of coronavirus, 1,292 active cases and 515,060 people recovered, which represents 99% of infections.
“To date we have 17 patients who are asymptomatic, 852 with mild acute respiratory failure, 323 with moderate acute respiratory failure and 100 in the Intensive Care Unit,” he explained.
Likewise, the official reported that a 72-year-old man died in the state of Barinas, with this death reaching 5,704 in the National territory. “Condolences to his family and relatives,” she said.
And he added: “Thanks to the discipline and awareness of the people, today there were no cases of community transmission, which is undoubtedly excellent news for us because we show that the formula applied is correct: prevention, vaccination and medication on time #WeKnowHowToDo It”.
