Brazilian teams continue to strengthen for next season. One of the most active at the moment is Bahia, which this year sold part of its Sociedade Anônima do Futebol (SAF) to City Football Group, owner of Manchester City.
To get a measure of how Tricolor is strengthening for the 2023 season, when it returns to play in Serie A of the Brazilian Championship, only this Wednesday (28th) did the club announce striker Everaldo, goalkeeper Marcos Felipe and defender David Duarte. A day earlier, Bahia had already confirmed the purchase of Gabriel Teixeira, formerly of Fluminense.
