At the departmental level, Badín stressed that important works and agreements are already being carried out. Among them, he mentioned the beginning of road infrastructure, the completion of numerous agreements between the Planning and Budget Office (OPP) and the Municipality of Colonia, which are allowing strategic projects for the territory to be energized.
In terms of housing, he highlighted that the first relocations have already begun and that the Ministry of Housing is evaluating the departmental situation in order to apply plans adapted to the territory, taking into account the specific needs of Colonia families.
In the area of health, the legislator highlighted the recent news about the inauguration of the new tomograph at the Colonia Hospital, for next October 21, the future authorization of an Intensive Care Center (CTI) and the opening of new mental health rooms, in addition to the increase in professional positions to reinforce these key areas.
“This budget is not a simple document, but a concrete tool for transformation: in roads, in housing, in health and in social policies. It represents real advances that impact the daily lives of people in Colonia and throughout the country,” said Badín.
