This was announced this Saturday by Dane, in the presentation of its report, which indicates that in February, the monthly variation of the CPI was 1.66%, This figure was boosted by the education division, which contributed 8.50% to the total monthly CPI and was the one with the greatest variation.
According to Dane, the largest price increases in February were registered in the subclasses of graduates, continuing education, preicfes, pre-university (10.66%), other expenses in higher education (10.64%) and payments for homework advisories and classes taught by individuals (9.78%).

The smallest price increases were reported in the subclasses non-formal education courses (5.06%), preschool and basic primary education (8.17%) and secondary education (8.35%).
In its annual variation, inflation in Colombia reached 13.28% in February. The annual variation of inflation as of February 2023 is 5.27 percentage points higher than that reported in the same period of the previous year, when it was 8.01%.
