The Cicpc reported the capture of a young mother who will be investigated because she allegedly caused the death of her 26-day-old son. The woman is identified as Yennifer Andreína Vásquez García (22), a resident of Propatria, Libertador municipality, Caracas, according to the report of the Coordination of Investigations of Crimes Against People West, posted on the Instagram site of the cicpc.
The 26-day-old baby, Yohendry Sebastián Mesones Vásquez, died of a brain hemorrhage “due to dehydration caused by excessive crying.” This happened once the drunken woman breast-fed the child, which complicated the health situation.
Vásquez García was handed over to the 98th Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Ministry of the Caracas Metropolitan Area.
