Through several videos that have gone viral on social networks, it can be seen how several babillas roam the streets of the Bosques de Alejandría neighborhood of the municipality of Jamundí.
In the audiovisual records it is even possible to show how some babillas have entered the houses, situation that has intimidated the residents of the sector.
Faced with this issue, the community has requested the intervention of the Regional Autonomous Corporation of Valle del Cauca (CVC), and the competent authorities to transfer the animals and prevent unfortunate events.

However, one of the community leaders specified that the people who live in the area are highly concerned about pets, children and the well-being of the babillas themselves, because they fear that out of fear, some people attack them.
“We are all at risk, there are children, pets here, it is a busy street and if someone goes out at night suddenly bumps into them, both can respond,” said the community spokeswoman.
In the same way, apparently, the animals came out of a lake that is close to the neighborhood, however, what most alerts the community is that the stifles are quite large.
On the other hand, people in the sector have indicated that the most worrying is that there are approximately ten animals that roam the houses of the neighborhood.

Until now, the community expects the CVC to intervene and assist the site to assess the possibility of relocating the animals, or to create an enclosure so that both the residents of the sector and the babillas are calm.
It should be noted that the animals left, because the lake where they live overflowed due to heavy rains that have fallen in the department of Valle.
