Eleven flights from the airline Azul that were scheduled to leave this Friday (20) from Viracopos Airport, in Campinas, São Paulo, were canceled due to “technical issues”, informed the company, which did not detail what the technical problems were.
In a statement, Azul said that the cancellations were announced at least 24 hours in advance and that passengers were notified through its official channels.
According to the company, passengers are being assisted and reaccommodated on other company flights. “Azul regrets any inconvenience caused and reinforces that actions like this are necessary to guarantee the safety of its operations, a fundamental value for the company,” wrote the company.
Anac
The National Civil Aviation Agency (Anac) informed that, in cases of flight delays and cancellations or in the event of a passenger complaint, they must initially contact the company responsible for the trip to resolve the problem.
“If the customer does not have their needs met or feels that their rights have been disrespected when contacting the airline, it is recommended to register a complaint on the platform Consumidor.gov.br to resolve the conflict through mediation by consumer protection bodies”, advised Anac.
