The subversion strikes again, this time disguised as Front for the Defense of the Ayacucho People (Fredepa). Just as they organized to take over the Alfredo Mendívil Duarte airport, in December 2022, now the organization linked to Movadef – Sendero Luminoso planned to monitor and harass a government delegation that arrived in Ayacucho to participate in a student activity. Did they seek to repeat the unfortunate violence that left dead and injured?
Through social networks, the Transitional Fight Committee of the Fredepa He encouraged the population to go to the Ayacucho air terminal and receive “the traitorous ministers” and President Dina Boluarte. However, the official agenda changed and only the Vice Minister of Health Benefits and Insurance, Henry Rebaza Iparraguirre, arrived at the airport to be part of the start of classes at the Mariscal Cáceres school.

For Pedro Yaranga, a specialist in terrorism issues, Ortega and Maraví are the maximum “ideologues” of the Fredepa.

Once the student event was over, the violentists took advantage of the fact that Vice Minister Henry Rebaza arrived with a delegation at an Ayacucho restaurant and managed to attack him.
