This project of Buenos Aires Governor seek to strengthen food assistance, so through this initiative Axel Kicillo will deliver food to more than 2 million families.
This program was advertised by Axel Kicillo at the opening of sessions of the Buenos Aires Legislature on March 2, where he also confirmed that there will be an investment of more than 16 billion pesos.
“At the same time as the School Food Service, the MESA plan was created, which It is a special and extraordinary food module that will reach more than 2 million families in the Province. It is a very big investment,” she expressed.
In this sense, the new program will serve as a complement to the School Food Service, and to attack the permanent rise in food prices at the national level.
This program will be directed by the Minister of Development, Andrés “Cuervo” Larroque, and will be officially announced this coming Thursday, April 21, by kicillof and other members of his cabinet.
Axel Kicillof will implement other measures to deal with inflation
In the midst of the serious economic crisis facing the country, the governor announced that a series of measures will be implemented to try to stabilize the population’s finances.
Between them, “More than 50 Buenos Aires markets will be created that will have a calendar, geolocation of fairs and contacts” as announced by the president. In addition, discounts will be offered in different shops.
In addition, on Friday and Saturday, there will be 50 buses that will transport, free of charge, people who want to make purchases in the Central Market, which favors both merchants and citizens.
