From January to June 2022, the agricultural and fishing goods with the highest sales from Mexico abroad are: avocado, tomato, pepper, strawberries and citrus, according to figures from the Bank of Mexico.
In total, agricultural and fishery exports from Mexico totaled 13,254 million dollars in this period.
With this result, they registered a year-on-year rise of 9.8% and accumulated nine years of growth in the same periods.
The agricultural sector of Mexico is large and diversified, in addition to being highly integrated with the United States, which makes it a sector with good prospects for companies from both countries.
