An Avianca plane that left the Guillermo León Valencia airport in Popayán had failures in one of the turbines and had to go emergency to the Alfonso Bonilla Aragón airport in Valle del Cauca.
The preliminary report indicates that The aircraft had failures in one of the turbinesas soon as it took off and the pilots and crew decided to move to the Alfonso Bonilla Aragón airport in Palmira, Valle, to address the situation that at no time put the passengers at risk.

One of the versions indicates that It could be a bird that hit the aircraft’s engine at the time of takeoffbut the civil aviation and air traffic controllers received the report and the communication from the personnel in charge of the aircraft to move to Palmira to attend to the repair of the affected turbine.
The situation was recorded through videos that were released on social networks where flames can be seen in the left engine of the plane.
