Avianca Cargo incorporates cargo aircraft to expand its capacity by up to 70%

Avianca Cargo announces the arrival from two to four A330 aircraft, which will allow its capacity to be expanded by up to 70% between 2022 and 2024.

With the arrival of the A330 P2F aircraft (passenger aircraft converted into cargo aircraft), which will gradually be incorporated into the company’s cargo fleet, Avianca Cargo will increase its role in the region increasing capacity in the export markets of Colombia and Ecuador, and in the import markets to South America from the United States.

Said actions are part of the strategic plan of the airline, through which with new projects and routes that are in continuous analysis together with the clients, commitment to continue strengthening direct connectivity between North America and Latin America.

From the incorporation of the A330 aircraft, Avianca Cargo is positioned as one of the airlines with the most efficient cargo fleet based in the region, with an increasingly sustainable operation.
