Avanza País will present Tacha against leftist alliance we wave

Avanza País will present Tacha against leftist alliance we wave

He will fulfill his ad. It will repeat the same strategy that has already left three rival groups on the right: Apu, Ryna and Popular Unity.

Avanza País, led by Phillip Butters, will present to the National Jury of Elections (JNE) a Tacha – that is a request for dissolution – against the registration of the leftist alliance we will win.

The appeal will be entered on Thursday 21, established deadline, although it is not ruled out that you do it a day before.

As advanced to Peru21 A week ago, the National Secretary of Organization of Avanza País, Martín Barrantes, confirmed to this newspaper that he will present the requirement at the JNE parts table on the indicated date.

He clarified that it is not a whim or a play against the political play play of his group, but a conviction.

Registration Sumilla of the leftist alliance we will expire Thursday by the JNE.

New Logo of we will win accepted by the JNE.

For Barrantes, the left -wing groups “You can’t give in a millimeter.”

The main argument will be that the two organizations that make up the alliance attempt against democracy. In reference to Guillermo Bermejo, from voices of the people – who could become a presidential candidate if the JNE gives registration green – recalled that he faces a process for alleged links with terrorism.

Barrantes added that Bermejo would have shown an antidemocratic speech. He cited as an example the audio released in May 2021 by Willaxtv, in which he is heard saying:

“We are socialists and our path to a new constitution is a first step, and if we take power, we will not leave it. With all the respect that you and your democratic blessings deserve, we prefer to stay to establish a revolutionary process in Peru.”

Bermejo himself acknowledged that the voice of the audio was his, according to commerce.

Another of the arguments of the Cueha points to the coalition logo. According to Barrantes, the emblem – some coca leaves – despite being a cultural symbol, can also be interpreted as an alleged allusion to terrorism and drug trafficking.

Finally, Avanza País argues that Nuevo Peru released in March a statement in its social networks expressing former president Pedro Castillo, author of the failed coup d’etat of December 7, 2022. For the organization, Castillo is the manager of an openly antidemocratic act.

In addition, New Peru did not rule out carrying it as a guest in the next elections. However, Castillo has decided to apply for the Senate with together for Peru, as Peru21 reported today.

The decision to present the Tacha was taken last Friday in a plenary of the National Executive Committee of Avanza País, with the participation of its national and regional coordinators.

The same April strategy

The country’s progress strategy aims to play with the established deadlines so that the coalition composed of Nuevo Peru, by Vicente Alanoca, and voices of the people, by Guillermo Bermejo, fails to register in time. The JNE calendar sets as deadline on September 1.

That same tactic was used in April with the studs against APU, Runa and Popular Unit. In those cases, the observations were resolved outside the deadline. Although APU and UP managed to register later, they could no longer participate in this electoral process.

Now, they would seek to do the same.

Logo change

On August 7, the JNE formally observed the registration of the Alianza Venceremos, composed of voices of the people and New Peru. The main objection was the similarity of its logo – a hand with two fingers in “V” – with that of the green movement of Ucayali, already registered in the Electoral Registry.

The electoral body warned that the coincidence could lead to confusion in voters and violate the principle of partisan identity.

However, the alliance remedied the observation, and last Saturday the JNE published in the Peruvian that he had met the requirements.

We will overcome: Avanza country seeks prominence

The president of the Alianza Let’s win, Enver León, pointed to Peru21 That the cup that thinks of Avanza País, against the registration of its coalition, seeks “a little prominence.”

“We already know the modus operandi of the emissaries of Avanza País. They do not care democracy. They are only interested in a little prominence putting obstacles to the political participation of popular organizations. We hope that the National Jury of Elections will proceed quickly to discard that cup and allow the people to choose.”

Is the Country Avanza Tacha one more obstacle on the path of overcoming or the sentence that leaves it out of the contest?
