Citizen Carlos Javier Guevara filed an appeal before the JNE against the resolution of JEE Lima Center 1 that rejected the objection presented against Joseph Williamspresidential candidate of Country Advancesfor alleged false information in his Affidavit of Resume, especially in the area of income, in view of the elections 2026.
The document maintains that the electoral authority validated as “material errors” what, in the opinion of the appellant, constitutes information contrary to the truth, despite the fact that the applicant receives more than one remuneration from the State in his capacity as a current congressman and retired general benefited by various regulations approved in recent years.

These include laws that grant monthly allowances and bonuses to former combatants and military commands, amounts that, according to the appeal, would not have been fully recorded in the resume presented by Joseph Williams before the electoral system.
In addition to the electoral fund, the document incorporates a complaint for alleged threats and attempts at intimidation against the person who promoted the impeachment, facts that it requests be taken into account by the authorities given the public exposure that the process generated.
