The match Country Advances – Social Integration Party yesterday, Sunday, December 7, made the former president of the Congress of the Republic official as a presidential candidate for the 2026 general elections, Joseph Williams.
The designation occurred during its National Congress, in an internal vote of delegates.
The decision comes after the irrevocable resignation of Phillip Butterswho had been presented as the party’s pre-candidate. Butters left his militancy and his presidential aspiration through a notarized letter addressed to the Avanza País authorities.
