This Friday, December 16, Congress rejected —with 49 votes in favor, 33 against and 25 abstentions— the substitute text of the Constitution Commission for an advance election in December 2023as well as the congressional and presidential cut of Dina Boluarte in April 2024.
One of the benches that voted against said reform was Avanza País, since its eight members that make it up paid for not admitting the advancement of elections. Among them are: Alejandro Cavero, Patricia Chirinos, Adriana Tudela, Rosselli Amuruzamong others.
