Beneficiaries of Auxílio Brasil who have not updated their records in the Cadastro Único (CadÚnico) for more than 2 years have until this Friday (14) to correct the information, at the risk of losing the benefit if they do not.
The deadline for beneficiaries to provide the information was established in July, through Joint Normative Instruction which changed the schedule for verifying and reviewing the data of families enrolled in CadÚnico, extending the registration review period for another 3 months, initially scheduled to end on July 15th.
According to the Ministry of Citizenship, responsible for coordinating Auxílio Brasil, the registration update must be carried out every 2 years or whenever there is any change, being essential to ensure the quality of the data and guarantee that the information registered in the CadÚnico database is always according to the reality of families.
Beneficiaries can check if their data is out of date or even if the information already provided is being compared with other federal administrative databases through the CadÚnico application, available for download at gov.br page.
If there has been no change in the information provided in the last interview, the beneficiary family may also confirm the data through the Cadastro Único application. However, if it is necessary to change any data, it is necessary to attend a registration post for a new registration update interview.
