The benefits of Auxílio Brasil and Auxílio Gás will be deposited a week ahead of schedule this October. Payment begins next Tuesday (11).
In an interview with the program The Voice of Brazil this Monday (3), the president of Caixa, Daniella Marques, said that more than 21 million families will be assisted, receiving the benefit of R$ 600. This month, R$ 12.5 billion will be paid to beneficiaries.
The Gas Aid, worth R$112 bimonthly, assists 5.9 million families, totaling R$650 million.
The money is deposited into a digital savings account, managed by the Caixa Tem app. The beneficiary can also use the card to move money in shops such as pharmacies and supermarkets.
Daniella Marques points out that any questions about the aid can be answered by calling toll free 121, every day, 24 hours a day.

In the interview, the president of Caixa also spoke about the bank’s actions for October Rosa. According to Daniella Marques, actions will be launched in the area of social insurance for women, within the Caixa pra Elas strategy, launched in August this year.
Caixa pra Elas is aimed at combating violence and encouraging women’s independence, with credit and consultancy for opening businesses. “Today, these 17 million women who receive Auxílio Brasil, if they open an individual micro-enterprise, she who is a manicurist, a manicurist, if she formalizes the company, she does not lose the Auxílio [Brasil], this is important information. And when it is formalized, the company has cheaper credit, it has access to sick breaks, maternity breaks, ”she explained.
Caixa has more than 1,000 branches with spaces dedicated to assisting women, with different types of guidance, such as on violence and on how to start a business. Daniella Marques adds that, by the end of the year, all 4,000 branches of the bank will have this space. Data from the bank’s president indicate that more than 80,000 women were welcomed in physical spaces and the Caixa para Elas application had 27 million hits.
“August we made six times more credit than July, in credit from legal entities led by women, seven times more credit, credit card more than 60% increase in hiring, insurance, more than 70%, I was sure that we are in the right direction”, highlighted Daniella, speaking of data relating the period before and after the program.
Another action cited by the bank’s president is the Pause for Maternity, which is the suspension of loan payments during the period of maternity leave.
“Between four and six months of leave, she stops paying, and when she goes back to work, she resumes without interest, correction or fine”, he explained.
