The Secretary of Citizen Security of the capital announced that during the early hours of this Sunday, the transfer of 89 prison inmates of the Mexico City to federal prisons to avoid risks and guarantee the governance of prisons.
According to the agency, on December 5, 49 people deprived of liberty were transferred, for which there are 138 transfers in recent months.
“This contributes to depressurizing the capital’s prisons and guaranteeing governability, as well as favoring readaptation conditions,” said the Secretary of Citizen Security it’s a statement.
The operation was carried out during the early hours of this Sunday, in a coordinated operation with personnel from the Undersecretariat of the Penitentiary System of the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) of Mexico City, the National Guard and the Decentralized Administrative Body for Prevention and Social Readaptation (OADPRS) of the Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC).
The transfers of 89 men were made from different men’s prisons in Mexico City and departed from the Mexico City International Airport (AICM) to the entities where they had the support of the federal and local prison authorities of the states of Nayarit. , Durango, Coahuila and Chiapas, in custody and transfer actions.
The agency detailed that 22 people deprived of liberty were taken to the Federal Center for Social Readaptation No. 4 “CPS Noroeste” Nayarit; 22 more to the Federal Center for Social Readaptation No. 14 “CPS Durango”; 22 to Cefereso 18 “CPS Coahuila”; and the remaining 23 people were transferred to the Federal Center for Social Readaptation No. 15 “CPS Chiapas”.
Among the transferred prisoners are Luis Fernando Canchola Fonseca and Dionisio Alfaro Pérez, alias “El Alfaro”, members of “Los Canchola 3 AD”.
In addition to Ernesto Hurtado Ramírez or Hugo Humberto Martínez Dávila, alias “El Diablo” and Ernesto Ahui Garcés Crespo, alias “El Panqué”, members of La Unión Tepito.
Former governor of Puebla transferred to Quintana Roo
