Ofrenda floral en el Panteón rememora 80 años de independencia de Vietnam

The Chancellor of the Republic, Yván Gil, and the Vietnam Ambassador in Venezuela, Vu Trung My, commemorated the 80 years of the August 1945 revolution and the subsequent declaration of independence of that country, before the father of the country, Simón Bolívar, in the national pantheon, with a floral offering.

“Venezuela reiterates its commitment to friendship and lasting cooperation among our peoples, while paying tribute to the Vietnamese people and their valuable legacy of anti -imperialist struggle,” said Venezuelan Chancellor through Telegram.

On September 2, 1945, Ho Chi Minh declared independence after the August Revolution and Vietnam became the first Asian nation to become independent after World War II. From then on, the French and Japanese colonial domain was ended and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam was issued.

Hanoi, the capital of Vietnamese, is filled with celebrations this day, with a historical event with around 40,000 participants who take part in the parade and procession, organized into 87 divisions that include ceremonial units, civil groups, military branches, militias and police, and contingencies of motorized and specialized vehicles.
