BARAHONA.- The National Police and the Public Ministry are investigating the circumstances of the death of a man, whose body with stab wounds was found by a nephew in a house under construction in the municipality of Vicente Noble, in this province.
This is Pedro Fèliz Gonzàlez, 74 years old, whose corpse presents stab wounds in different parts of the head, according to the examination carried out by the coroner acting in the case.
In a press release, the South Regional Police Department indicates that the lifeless body of the man was found this Friday morning by a nephew identified as Robelìn Fèliz Núñez, who was detained for investigation purposes.
The members of the Criminal Investigations Branch (DICRIM) in the company of a prosecutor went to the scene and began the corresponding investigations, aimed at establishing the motive for the crime, identifying and arresting its perpetrators.
On the other hand, it points out that Pedro Gonzàlez, who was known in his town as Pedrito, had left his home at 10:00 on Thursday morning and did not return.
Cuevas Gonzàlez, who attached a photo of the deceased today to his information, indicates that he had special conditions.
It was learned that as soon as the man’s body was found in the house under construction immediately in Vicente Noble, the version spread that he was also sexually raped, a species that has not been confirmed or denied by the National Police or the Public Ministry.
